Sheep Shares CSA

Sheep Sharea CSAJoin me and my flock for a year-long adventure in yarn farming! Sheep Shares is our farm’s yarn CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).

Our yearly wool clip reflects a year’s work in meticulously caring for our herd and growing wool – our principal farm product. All wool in our yarns comes from our Cormo, Cormo-cross and Moorit sheep, raised by us here on our farm in Shelburne, Massachusetts.

We grow wool for knitters who care deeply about the origin of their fibers.

We grow wool for knitters who want a personal connection with a flock.

We grow wool for knitters who are passionate about sustaining small-scale, independent farms.

Sheep Shares members receive farm-fresh skeins or fiber (back by popular demand!) from my flock to your mailbox. This year we are offering three seasons of shares:

Holiday/Winter share (ships in December 2015)
Spring Share (ships in April)
Fall Share (ships in October)

Special Farm Events for Sheep Shares members: We host three special events in the course of the year open only to our Sheep Shares CSA members and their guests: Shearing Day in April, Strolling of the Sheep in June, and Fiber, Foliage & Friends Open Farm day in early October. Dates will be announced.

Farm Update Emails throughout the year keep Sheep Shares members informed about farm life and upcoming events.

Gifting Sheep Shares – A Sheep Shares membership makes a lovely gift for special knitters in your life. If you’re purchasing a membership for another person, please be sure to include the name, address and email address for the recipient as well as your own contact info and form of payment. I can send you a gift card to present.
